Despite the rainy weather, Rye Hockey players washed enough cars to pay for 3 fan buses for the upcoming season. The team continues to be without a home rink since Sandy damaged the Playland Ice Casino. Their home games will be played at the Ice Hutch in Mount Vernon. The car wash raised enough money for 3 fan buses. In addition a Rye hockey family donated enough for an additional bus. Thanks to everyone who supported the car wash!
