Rye and Rye Brook Little League tournament teams saw their seasons come to a close this week while adult recreation leagues continued with the final legs of their 2010 regular seasons before the playoffs begin.

Men's Softball A League

Men's Softball B League

Uncle Henry's remained in second place this week after an 18-3 victory over the fourth place Roadhouse Regulars last Thursday and an 11-10 edger over Kelly's for their second consecutive win. Davy Byrne's is also on a two-game winning streak after defeating the seventh place Hammerheads 15-9 Tuesday to remain in third place at 8-5.
Men's Softball C League
The Rye Bar and Grill Hackers and M-n-M had byes this week so a tie still stands between the teams. Action picks up Monday when the Hackers play the Dublin Dodgers again, while M-n-M faces the Wranglers. The lone game of the week was an exciting one as third place Uncle Henry's- Gabelli narrowly defeated fifth place Rye Ford Second Chance 11-10.
Women's Softball League
The upset of the week was that of the Pub Ryots handing first place Frank's Italian Restaurant/American Stitch Authority their first loss of the season after going unbeaten through their first eight games to currently stand at 8-1. In other action, Rye Brook improved to 5-4 after coming from behind to beat the Davy Byrne's Rum Runners 8-7 in the bottom the sixth Wednesday.
Rye Little League
The Rye Little League 11 and 12-year-old tournament team defeated Sherman Park, 3-1, Tuesday putting them within two games of the District 20 Championship. They face Ardsley in a 11 a.m. game Saturday at Volunteer Field in Hawthorne, NY.
Rye's nine and 10-year-old team suffered a 17-5 defeat to Sherman Park on Friday in Loser Bracket play.
Rye Brook Little League
In Rye Brook Little League action, the 11 and 12- year-old team beat White Plains American 1-0 on Thursday, but had their little league season come to a close when they lost 12-0 to Elmsford Tuesday. Even though the season is over, many of the players will be involved with Rye Brook summer leagues.
Rye Brook Men's Softball
In South League Action, the fourth place Errorists handed Uncle Henry's another loss, 24-9, this week. Games, in the North League included the fifth place Sound Shore Productions beating the third place GMEN 19-9. Fourth place UK United also defeated the sixth place Foul Balls 19-4.
Playoffs begin July 19.
