The Big Assist is an exhibition hockey game with NHL, AHL, Elite European League players and current and former Division I/III college players.  The game is hosted by Ryan Shannon, Stanley Cup winner with the Anaheim Ducks. Included on the roster are Marty St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Matt Moulson of the NY Islanders, and Max Pacioretty of the Montreal Canadiens.

This is a fundraising event to support the work of the Obie Harrington-Howes Foundation.   OHHF makes financial assistance grants to Connecticut residents living with spinal cord injuries and disease.  Obie was the first hockey coach for Ryan Shannon.
