PRO SQUASH TOUR SEASON OPENER COMES TO RYE BROOK

Pro Squash Tour begins its 2012-13 season in Rye Brook, NY with the Buffalo Wild Wings Open, September 21 – 23, 2012, hosted by the Club@ 800 Squash & Fitness at 800 Westchester Avenue.


Several top players will return to action and meet a new group of future stars. Headlining the tournament are PST’s 2011 Philadelphia Open Champion Adrian Leanza, former Brown University’s No. 1, PST’s 2011 Boston Open Champion Mohamed Nabil of Egypt, and PST’s 2012 Pyramid Open Champion Shahid Khan of England,  teaching pro at the Club @ 800.


Three top juniors will compete in the tournament to test their talents against the pros. They include Mason Ripka, Pierson Broadwater and Jordan Brail, all elite players with international experience, yet none has reached his 17th birthday.

Players from across the world compete on the Pro Squash Tour for points and prize money. PST’s top eight players are invited to an end-of-season tournament to compete for the PST World Championship.


Matches begin Friday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. The quarterfinals are set for Saturday, September 22 at11 a.m. and semifinals, from 6 to 8 p.m. The finals will be held on Sunday, September 23 at noon following a third place match at 11 a.m. For more information, visit www.ProSquashTour.net
