Rye resident and baseball legend Ralph Branca will be at Barnes & Noble in White Plains

Branca was an All-Star three times in the 1940s, but he is most well-known for giving up Bobby Thomson’s “Shot Heard Round the World” at the Polo Grounds in 1951.

Today Branca will be signing copies of his book “A Moment In Time” offers a first hand account of Major League Baseball’s golden age.

Currently, many young students across Westchester and Rockland counties are signing their national letters of intent to take their academic and athletic careers to the next level. If you or your teammate is about to sign to compete in college, let us know.
