Event so-Chairs Denise Cypher and Julie Friedmann told Patch the group underwrites need-based scholarships, school programs and equipment donations using the money it will generate at the House Tour this Friday. The parents' organization has purchased classroom smartboards, cafeteria and gym equipment as well as its scholarship awards in recent years.
As testimony to Rye High School Garnet pride, none of 5 households involved with the tour this year have children currently enrolled at the high school, but everyone wanted to do their part to support the parents’ organization and participate in this Rye tradition.
