[VIDEO] Blind Brook and Rye City Budgets Pass; Incumbents Re-Elected

Both Blind Brook and Rye City school district voters overwhelmingly passed their respective budgets and re-elected incumbent school board candidates Tuesday night.

The final results for Tuesday's school district election votes tell the tale:

Blind Brook Results

Blind Brook School District voters approved their proposed 2012-2013 school budget by a margin of 82.7 percent: 945 votes yes, 198 votes no.

Voters chose incumbent Nancy Barr and Daniel Savitt with 909 and 832 votes respectively. Former board member Dr. Richard Buzin came up short with 618 votes

Rye City Results

Rye City School District voters also overwhelmingly supported their proposed budget with 1221 yes votes and 421 no votes.

Board president Laura Slack was re-elected with 1261 votes, followed by Nancy Pasquale with 1217 votes, and Chris Repetto with 955 votes. Patrick Cox's 741 votes missed the margin.
