Three Students Exhibit Art at Concordia College

Artwork by three high school students from School of the Holy Child are featured at the OSilas Gallery on the campus of Concordia College

Artwork by three School of the Holy Child high school students– Melanie Patapis of Scarsdale, Destini Beauregard of the Bronx and Danielle Riverso of West Harrison– is currently on display at the StArt ’12 Regional High School Art Exhibition in the OSilas Gallery at Concordia College.

The annual exhibit showcases the work of talented area high school artists, and according to Amanda Newberg, art teacher at Holy Child, it “provides students with a forum for the community to see and appreciate their work. It also gives them a chance to show their art outside of a school setting,” she says.

Awards of Excellence were presented to student artists at Friday’s opening reception. Patapis won for her work, “It’s all Greek to Me.”
