Rye Voters Approve $76.7 Million School Budget

Rye voters approved the 2013-2014 $76.7 million budget Tuesday with 1,434 "yes" votes and 406 "no" votes, according to unofficial results reported by the School District. 

Board Candidates Nicole Weber and Katy Glassberg won the election. Weber, a first time candidate, garnered 1,037 votes and Glassberg, an incumbent, won 1,305. Robert Zahm came in third with 854 votes. 

Weber will fill the one seat to be left vacant by Kendall Egan, who did not run for re-election.
