This is an annual tax notice from the Rye City School District. It is just a reminder that taxes are due and can be paid in two installments. The deadline for the first installment is Aug. 31. Individual tax bills were mailed recently to homeowners, a district spokesperson said.
Here is the full tax notice: The Rye City School District has given notice that school taxes became a lien upon the property or persons to be assessed in the School District on July 1, 2013 and shall be construed as and deemed to be charged thereon on such date and shall remain such liens until paid.
The District will receive payment in two equal installments, the first half payable on or before August 31, 2013 without penalty, and the second half payable on or before November 30, 2013 without penalty, at the Rye City School District’s Administration Offices, located at 411 Theodore Fremd Avenue, South Lobby, Rye, New York, 10580, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in August and 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in September, with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays, and District holidays.

The date of the expiration of the tax warrant referenced herein is the 15th day of December 2013.
