In just one week, it's back to school for Rye City School District. Meet four more new teachers:
- Suzanne Adams, RMS English Teacher
- Andrea Garavanta, RMS Social Studies
- Jose Maria Moreno Dominguez, RHS Spanish Teacher (not pictured) Jose Maria Moreno Dominguez joins the Rye High School faculty after working as a Spanish teacherat Sleepy Hollow High School in Tarrytown. Prior to that, he taught English at a school in Spain, andfrom 2004-2010 held roles as a Spanish teacher at various schools in the Bronx and New York City.He has developed curriculum frameworks, taught advanced courses, led community service projects,served as a translator, and advised extracurricular programs including a journalism club and initiativesrelated to Spanish. He has also taught and led programs at the college level at SUNY Buffalo and AlfredUniversity, and coordinated student exchange programs between the Colegio Trinidad-Sansueno in Spanand Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn. Mr. Dominguez earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from theUniversidad de Cordoba in Spain, and holds Master of Arts Degrees from the Universidad Antonio deNebrija in Spain and State University of New York at Buffalo.
