UNIQUELY U. HOLDS 3 PARENT INFO SESSIONS

ON NEW 2012-2013 COMMON APPLICATION

If you’re the parents of college-bound juniors, May can be a month of waiting on the sidelines for APs, SATs and proms to be over. Then more waiting; next year’s Common App won’t go live until 8/1.

To put this precious time to use, Maxene Fabe Mulford of Uniquely U. College Essay Consultants has set aside three informative Thursday evenings for parents to share with their busy juniors when they are finally free enough to concentrate.

The May 10, 17, and 24 sessions will take place from 7-9 p.m. at 55 Riverside Ave., Stamford, CT and cover the same material all three evenings.

Topics include

contents of the new Common application

the activity sheet as secret weapon

how to maximize summer college visits

with this fall’s supplement apps in mind

where the college essay fits into the whole equation

Space is limited; reservations are required.

A. Who the heck is "Sam Gentile"? Is "he" qualified to make the kind of postsRead More he's been making? Does he have an undisclosed financial interest in what he's posting? This sure looks like an [unidentified as such] sales promotion for Staples. B. On what basis does "he" assert that Rye Teachers are paying out of their own pockets for school expenses? I'm sure some are, but is it reasonable to base such a broadbrush / dramatic statement based on a nation-wide survey the source of which isn't even specified in the post? Was the survey perhaps assembled by Staples or some other business?
