Taking Sports Beyond High School Seminar

On Tuesday, October 26, eight local school districts will sponsor a seminar for student athletes, their parents and coaches.  It will be held at Harrison High School Performing Arts Center at 7:00 pm.  Admission is free and all are welcome.  

The seminar, presented by Rick Pound, an expert on marketing high school athletes to colleges, will discuss the process for selecting a college that meets both academic and athletic needs.  He will also explain the latest NCAA Student Athlete Eligibility Requirements.  He will address the importance of academics when considering college athletic opportunities.
