Resurrection School Celebrates Catholic Schools Week 2011 With Their Annual Open House

Sunday, January 30 through Saturday, February 5, 2011 Resurrection School of Rye, NY celebrates Catholic Schools Week (“CSW”). This is when Resurrection School opens their doors to all those interested in pursuing a Catholic education for their children.  This is an opportunity to visit the classroom of your choice and watch Resurrection students and teachers in action.

The CSW open house times are listed in the schedule below.  Interested parties can just drop in during the scheduled times.  There will be Resurrection volunteers to assist you up front in finding your desired grade and classroom.  If you would like a private tour or set up an appointment with the school principal Harold Nielsen, please call Doreen Pircio at 914-925-1218 or email her doreenp@resurrectionschool.com.  There are still a few spaces available in pre K through 7th grade for the Resurrection School Fall 2011 Registration.

This year’s national theme for CSW is “A+ for America”.  This theme celebrates Catholic schools as an added value ("a plus") for the nation. The traditionally high academic standards and high graduation rates, all supported by strong moral values are the national Catholic School strengths seen in Resurrection School students.  "Giving back to the community" and "helping others" are values instilled in every Resurrection student.

Resurrection Principal Harold Nielsen says, "The Resurrection School looks forward to welcoming all of our school families and guests to each of our Open Houses in February.”

Rye, NY’s The Church of the  Resurrection serves the Catholic community and is the heart of Resurrection School.  The Church and School are located between Milton and Boston Post Roads.
