Getting ready for college?  Teens and their parents are invited to the Rye Free Reading Room on Tuesday, October 18, at 6:30 p.m. for a free Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions workshop on what college admissions officers are looking for in an application essay.  Hear about the essay topics you may encounter, analyze sample essays and learn the four steps to writing a stand-out essay of your own.
