Blind Brook School Board President Sheri Zarkower announced the district had reached a memorandum of agreement with the Association of Blind Brook Administrators this morning. Their contract was due to expire June 30, 2012.

Well, gee, that's quite a press release. Its only content is that an agreement was reached. Nothing about terms which is what's really important to the tax payers. Also nothing about how the agreement affects the budget that will be voted on shortly - better than planned, worse than planned, etc.

The details of the agreement weren't available. When they are, we'll post them. It is good news that the district was able to come to an agreement before the previous one expired.

Still no outline or copy of the agreement. Also, nothing is obviously visible on the Blind Brook school district web site.
