Blind Brook Appoints New Athletic Director, Assistant Principal

Blind Brook Board of Education makes two major appointments

Blind Brook Board of Education voted unanimously to appoint a new athletic director and elementary school assistant principal.

  • Gregory Russo, Director of Physical Education, Health and Interscholastic Athletics
  • Lori Cutrone, Assistant Principal  of the Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street Elementary School

Russo replaces James Spano who is retiring after 25 years with the district. Russo will begin July 1 with an annual salary of $140,000. Members of the board debated filling or redefining the position and then over the starting salary. Also receiving a three-year contract, Lori Cutrone was approved as Assistant Principal with a salary of $125,000.
