Westchester Residents Can Volunteer for MLK Day

MLK Day is a Day On, not a day off. Westchester County residents can find volunteer projects that suit their interests and answer the call to service.

This is user-generated content submitted by County Legislator Judy Myers, (Dist. 7).

On Saturday, January 14, 2012, people from all walks of life will gather together to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through service projects throughout Westchester.

Join hundreds of volunteers to help mentor youth, visit isolated seniors, inspire the disabled, or even save the area's trees. With 29 different projects to choose from locally, there are plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved.
