Voting Locations Open in Rye and Rye Brook

Voting information from the city and village.

All polling places in Rye Brook and Rye will be open for Election Day Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Here is important voter info from Blind Brook School District and the City of Rye:

Rye Brook

At the Blind Brook Middle School/High School, voter parking will be available in the first two rows of parking spaces directly in front of the building.

At the Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School, spaces will be available directly in front of the building.

For Students:

All 12th grade students who will be driving to school tomorrow must park in the lot at 900 King Street, directly adjacent to the Middle School/High School building.

Also, Monday, November 5th was set as an F day in order to give students, faculty and staff a sense of continuity in returning to school after the trying week off. In order to get the District back on its regular schedule, Tuesday, November 6th will also be an F day. We hope that this does not cause any difficulties.

Rye

The following usual polling places will be open on Tuesday:

City Hall
The Osborn (not the school)
Whitby Castle
Milton Fire House
Damiano Center
Rye Middle School

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

Let's look at the appropriateness of this post. First, it's clearly an ad because it points to aRead More specific insurance agent at a specific agency to contact. Second, it attempts to hide being an ad behind what may be useful information (or not). Third, the "person" who posted it doesn't use their real name. Instead, they use a pseudonym Divorce Information NOW. That doesn’t seem terribly reassuring to me. This the third advertising post on the “announcements” space since Rye Patch converted to the new site layout. Seems a bit of a mess to me. But hopefully someone will come along and figure out who the real poster is, their link to the advertised agent and agency, and then delete the post. After all, if it’s an ad, it should be labeled as such and the poster should pay for having it run. If that doesn’t happen, Patch won’t be able to pay its employees to keep real content on the site.

Don't feel so bad. The Patch doesn't even acknowledge that PC is a waterfront community. We've allRead More been shorted.
