Talk Back on Lester's Site [POLL]
This week's controversial zoning change is today's Talk Back poll subject.
Zoning changes and housing developments were the talk of Rye this week.
A memorandum the city planner says was meant to brief councilmembers about the possible uses of 1031, 1037 and 1051 Boston Post Road got emailed around town and soon convinced many, including the Rye City School Board President, that residents needed to mobilize against the proposed zoning changes.
The Council has voted to sell the properties with their current zoning designation intact. But that doesn't close the door to possible zoning changes in the future.
