Rye Council Thanks 8 City Employees for Service

Eight Rye City employees will be recognized for service of 25 and 30 years by the Council tonight.

A career in public service is surely something to be commended. At tonight's city council meeting, awards will be given to eight employees who have worked the City of Rye for terms of 25 and 30 years.

James Detlefs, Scott Fontecchio, and Philip Moccio will be recognized for 25 years of service to the Public Works department. Sgt. Louis Olivier will be recognized for 25 years with the police department. 

Receiving awards for 30 years of service are Daniel DeCarlo and Richard Roode of the fire department, Sgt. Nicholas Groglio with the police department and Jeffrey Simpson with Public Works.
