Rye Boat Basin Supervisor Peter Fox was put on administrative leave by city officials last week, according to The Journal News. The action was taken amid questions about the "appripriate use of the city boat," and other issues, lohud.com reports.

Fox oversees operations at DePauw Municipal Boat Basin and is paid a salary of $75,000.The boat basin operates via a "proprietary fund", in a manner similar to a private enterprise with a $1.1 million budget.

Fox is one of two employees placed on admin leave last week. The city manager announced that Rye Golf Club General Manager Scott Yandrasevich was placed on a 30-day leave last Wednesday night, amid concerns over his ties to the staffing agency he hired to serve the club.
