Rye and Blind Brook Pass School Budgets; New Board of Education Members Elected
Results from the Rye and Blind Brook school budget elections came in late Tuesday night.
Voters in both school districts voted in favor of their districts' budgets.
Voters in Rye and Blind Brook headed to the polls on Tuesday to cast their votes for their districts' budgets and choose members of the Board of Education.
In Rye City School District, 68.3 percent of voters approved the district's $71.9 million budget, while in Blind Brook 73.5 percent of voters approved the district's $39.5 million budget.

The Rye City school board elections were uncontested, with incumbent Edward Fox reclaiming his seat and Karen Belanger taking the second open spot.
In Blind Brook, candidates Jeff Diamond and incumbent Glen Schuster were elected to three-year terms in a race.
