Talk about envy and obsession, move on Jeff Meyer from Tuckahoe, NY 914-500-7180 I must sign off, I have an engagement at the country club.
Watchdog January 31, 2012 at 01:31 am
Heff Meyer, how much did you pay in NYS taxes on your pension since you started collecting it?
Why should the a enrage taxpayer pay for your stock market losses in your pension plan while absorbing our own losses? No wonder you like Government so much, you seem to contribute very little while receiving a lot.
Tony T January 31, 2012 at 07:17 am
Jeff,
Funny thing I was a police officer for 10 years and a union delegate and trustee and left to started a new career. One of the reason I left was becasue the system from top to bottom was ripe with blow hards who were on some sort of power trip and not there to serve the public but only abuse the system and the public. From you comments I must assume that you ran to the PBA quite often for help during you time on the "job".
Scott Walters January 31, 2012 at 12:17 pm
Ross...if you look at my posts (which obviously you didn't, and there were NINE I made yesterday here on this strand), you would clearly see that I am NO lLIBERAL...PLEASE!!..but, if you are going to get personal or attack otherwise in a way which is not totally fact dependent, to not use your real name is cowardice....just saying...
jeff meyer January 31, 2012 at 02:07 pm
Tony T, It's too bad you had to quit the job after only 10 years and not receive a full service pension. Many people such as yourself can't handle the job so you quitting is completely understandable. I hope you found happiness with your new career. Geez.. I hope you find happiness with anything. Jeff Meyer Tuckahoe, NY

Watchdog, my name is Jeff not Heff. Why are you going down that old beaten path of wanting to look through my medicine cabinet. What are you exactly a "watchdog" of? Are you a "watchdog" of an organization or are you a self proclaimed "watchdog" of the people. Are you really asking me to post my tax returns on this forum. Do you really consider that to be a reasonable request? Why would I do such a thing for you? You didn't even leave your name. Just like "Tony T", Ross Revira (not his real name) and many others you wish to be anonymous. That is fine. I'm sorry "watchdog" I can not agree to your request. Even though I can sleep well at night knowing that the "watchdog" is diligently keeping me and my family safe from unknown perils, your request falls under the category of lunacy. However, keep up the good work. The residents of Westchester County owe a great deal of gratitude to the "WATCHDOG". Jeff Meyer Tuckahoe, NY
Tony T January 31, 2012 at 08:23 pm
Jeff,
You got it all wrong I didn't have to quit as you put it. I enjoyed the job handled it well but did not expect what I found. I realized a few years into the job that most of my fellow officers were not there to serve and had a similiar attitude as yours regarding public service "hurray for me (us) and screw you". So when I realized that it was not what it seemed I made an consicous decision to leave unfortunately guy like you stayed and made it what civil service is today!!
Walt January 31, 2012 at 08:47 pm
Yeah but not as much the residents of Eastchester owe you after hitting them for an extra 50K in your last year to pad your pension. Nice job guy, as long as you got yours, that's all that matters.

Jeff Meyer from Tuckahoe 914-500-7180 I had a great night at the country club last night. I see you just can't move on and continue to bring up my name.Better get used to views like mine because that is the future of America because of what your philosophy has wrought. I would say Tony T's description of today's typical "public servant " is quite accurate. The proof of his assertion is Jeff Meyer from Tuckahoe, NY 914-500-7180.
Ross Revira January 31, 2012 at 09:10 pm
Walt I thought Jeff Meyer from Tuckahoe,NY 914-500-7180 was a committed and honest Socialist. It turns out he is a dishonest Capitalist masquerading as a bleeding heart Liberal trying to help his fellow citizen. If he is not the poster child of a hypocrite nothing is. You have been exposed Jeff Meyer from Tuckahoe, NY 914-500-7180. Tony T. had you pegged.
Watchdog January 31, 2012 at 09:39 pm
JEFF, you take so much but give so little. I never asked you for your tax return. I asked how much you paid in NYS taxes, you know the State in which you live? Is it not true Jeff that you pay ZERO NYS TAXES?
Watchdog January 31, 2012 at 09:53 pm
JEFF took a lot, paid for by hard working New Yorkers who faithfully paid their taxes so he could SCAM the system and FAKE his status as a true liberal. Bob Grant used to have a saying for people like Jeff. He called them FAKE, PHONY FRAUDS. How can you and your family look your neighbors in the eye after this SCAMMING? Seniors unable to pay their high tax bills while you pad your salary. DISGRACEFUL.
jeff meyer January 31, 2012 at 10:55 pm
WATCHDOG, Tony T, RR (not his real name), and Walt, can't we just all get along? Tony T, you don't owe me an explanation as to why you quit the force. That's none of my business or concern. Walt, if you disagree with the amount of OT I worked (I am flattered that you research my life and paycheck and find it so interesting) then blame the management of the EPD. Would you turn down OT if it was offered to you. Watchdog, I want to thank you. I can only speak for myself and no one else. Having said that it helps me to get through the day when I know that the "WATCHDOG" is out there and has my back. Keep on watching buddy. The world needs you!!!! Jeff Meyer Tuckahoe, NY
Walt January 31, 2012 at 11:36 pm
Actually Jeff, if the management tried to manage your overtime during your last year, you'd be crying "UNION BUSTING".
Tell me Jeff, did you retire on 3/4s from EPD? A source tells me you did but I cannot believe that since you stated earlier that people including yourself should pay more if they make more but a disability pension would mean that you are exempt from paying Federal Income tax. That's alright guy, screw 'em with both hands, you got yours.
Ross Revira February 1, 2012 at 12:47 am
He pays no taxes Fed or State.

Now you know why he wants your name. Arrested for harassment on disability pension. How bad does it have to get.

OVERTIME and DISABILITY should not go hand in hand. What is his Disability?
BR Cannon February 1, 2012 at 01:31 am
Watchdog, you're boring me. You're WatchDOG because after you leave your opinions, someone needs to come along after you with a pooper scooper.
jeff meyer February 1, 2012 at 02:11 am
I am so use to criticism on these pages that I am immune to it. However, to compare me to a NAZI at a Nuremberg Trial is beyond disgust. To use one of the worst events in human history and insert it into this debate in order to enhance one's POV is something only worthy of "Ross Revira"(not his real name). I guess only when you are allowed to use false names would one get the audacity to use such insensitive and hateful rhetoric. Listen very closely guys; I am pro labor, I was union president for 11 years for the EPOU. I am what you would deem a political progressive. I believe in universal health care. I would personally support paying for said health care. I worked as a police officer for 21 years. It is public knowledge that I was arrested in defense of a friend a fellow officer at a Eastchester Town Board Meeting. It was reported in this publication. That's all I can say because the Eastchester Police chief timmy bonci has a 2 year order of protection against me because he stated he feared for his safety. I can not attend a town board meeting until said order expires. Jeff Meyer Tuckahoe, NY

I must state that I am in awe of the obsessive fixation that my detractors have of my retirement and pension. Hundreds of thousands of police officers and firefighter have retired after 20 years of service. Walt, WD, RR, TT you all had the same chance TT did but he quit) to take the police of firefighter exam. Either you chose not to or you failed. You chose a different occupational path. Is it my fault that your choices blew up in your faces? My pension and benefits are a DIRECT result of a unionized job. I wish all people had the benefits that me and my family enjoy. I thank the trailblazers before me that taught us the power and advantage of organized labor and the collective bargaining process. If one wishes to be anti labor and go it on their own, well that's on them. Stop whining and grow up. We all make our decisions and choices. Deal with it like men and stop whining like little girls. You only diminish yourselves. JM Tuckahoe, NY
Watchdog February 1, 2012 at 02:25 am
Jeff, what is your disability and how we're you able to work 50 hours of overtime to pad your pension if you were disabled? If you are a political progressive that believes in every taxpayer paying their fair share, how come you do not pay any income taxes ? YOU SUPPORT PAYING FOR HEALTH CARE But GET FREE HEALTH CARE? This is LA LA LAND.
jeff meyer February 1, 2012 at 02:36 am
My disability is I had the sniffles. I made $50,000 of yearly OT by eating donuts and sleeping in a police vehicle. Isn't that what you want to hear? Of course I have free health care. All retired Eastchester Police Officers have fully paid health care for our entire family. Your the "WATCHDOG'. You are suppose to know these things. JM Tuckahoe, NY
happypatcher February 1, 2012 at 02:43 am
Cool JM, are there any more openings, I am ready for the test, BTW what kind of donuts do they serve down there?
grassroots February 1, 2012 at 04:07 am
That would have happened regardless of who was president. Congress runs the country.
Tony T February 1, 2012 at 12:27 pm
Jeff,
I think it did deserve a response because your comment was "Many people such as yourself can't handle the job so you quitting is completely understandable." And the truth is I could handle the job but not fakes and frauds like you who did not respect the public trust you were handed you took the oath of office!!
Tony T February 1, 2012 at 12:28 pm
Gurantee it was a fake 3/4 Disability Pension!!!
Tony T February 1, 2012 at 12:31 pm
Jeff,
I really don't care about the donuts although it is a symptom of all that is wrong and why there is no repect for civil service today ....it's all the other people you shook down that wound up in that paper bag you poicked up each week!!!
Bob February 1, 2012 at 12:50 pm
I've heard many people I know who are uneployed including my X wife who is on umenployement say they were offered jobs but the money was only a little better than unemployement so at least she knows the money is steady so why stayed on unemployement. Others have said the same. Unemployement for people whi have a college education is 4% give or take a %. In inner cities its more like 16%
Tony T February 1, 2012 at 01:00 pm
Why are disability pensions tax exempt.....they are already higher than regular pensions usually 75% I really do not understand why someone on a disability gets this perk. If you are diabled and work (something you can't do in the PD) in the private sector is you paycheck exempt from state and fedral taxes!!
Pauljk March 11, 2012 at 12:36 am
Bush inherited a 6.3 Trillion dollar debt and raised it 95% to 12.3 Trillion. Obama inherited a 12.3 Trillion dollar debt and raised it 26% to 15.5 Trillion. Who is bankrupting the country? Even if Obama kept up this pace which he won't, he'd only do 1/2 of the damage that Bush accomplished. I think that it's plain to see who's more fiscally conservative. All we need to do now is get back to higher taxes for corporations and the grossly wealthy and pay this debt.
