Nowak New Rye Brook Superintendent of Public Works

Michal Nowak starts a new job today, Superintendent of Public Works.

This morning, Michal Nowak starts his new job. After six years on the Rye Brook administrative staff, four as Assistant Engineer and two as Acting Engineer and Director of Public Works in Rye Brook, he has a new position: Superintendent of Public Works. 

The Village Board unanimously approved Administrator Christopher Bradbury's recommendation on Nowak's behalf Tuesday night. 

"He has been an incredible member of our staff," said Mayor Joan Feinstein. "His work ethic is stellar."

Trustee Paul Rosenberg agreed, "I've seen you out there after every storm working tirelessly."

Village Administrator Bradbury had nothing but praise for Nowak remarking "he has done so many things." Over the last six years, Nowak has trained as an arborist and become a certified code enforcement officer on his own initiative.

"We're so fortunate to have you here and give you the title," said Feinstein.
