Get Your Motor Running at Playland's Car, Truck and 4 X 4 Show

Show off your classics at Playland Sept. 30.

Thanks to Westchester County for submitting this information: Get your motor running, head out on the highway and, if you are looking for adventure, the Playland Car, Truck and 4x4 Show is coming your way on Sunday, September 30,  11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the park in Rye.

The show will feature displays of a wide variety of classic and collectible cars, street rods, motorcycles and vintage trucks, all carefully restored to mint condition or modified for performance. 

DeDona Enterprises will sponsor a competition of outstandingly cool vehicles including 4 x 4s, SUVs, custom trucks and motorcycles. Sixty trophies will be presented to the “Best in Show” vehicles. Call (914) 965-4444 to participate.

The Westchester Street Rod Association will present more than 100 trophies to the best vehicles -- classified by decades up to modified 2008. For information on entering a car or bike, call (914) 946-3198 or (914) 632-7956.

Admission is free for spectators. There is a parking fee of $5 per car. In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.

The show is sponsored by Westchester County Parks, the Westchester Street Rod Association and DeDona Enterprises.
