Check your Patch homepage for local photos, road conditions and business closings.

All of Westchester and Fairfield Counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service through 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Accumulations of snow could total 3 to 5 inches, the weather service says, with higher local amounts possible.

“Snow will develop toward the end of the morning rush and continue into the afternoon,” the advisory says. “The snow should taper off during the first part of the afternoon rush hour.”
