Toy Drive Starts Today

Rye Police Association kicks off the annual Toys for Tots Drive today.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! It may be 10 weeks away, but the members of Rye Police Association are putting on their Santa hats today.

Police Officer David Casale and several other officers were busy putting the huge drop boxes in place yesterday and hopes the community will fill them up just as they have done in previous years. Their efforts support the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

New, unwrapped toys for boys and girls can be dropped off in two locations this year. The drop box at Rye Police Department, 21 McCullough Pl., is accessible 24 hours a day. Presents can also be left in the drop box at City Hall, 1051 Boston Post Rd., Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
