Three-Legged Chipmunk Bites Girl

A Horton Street resident said that a three-legged chipmunk bit her daughter on Sept. 20 at 4:34 p.m. Parents said they would take the girl to a doctor.

 Raccoon Acting Rabid

Police received a report of a raccoon acting rabid on Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. The Raccoon fell into a sewer before police were able to catch it.

Police dispatched a young deer with a leg injury near Mead Pond Lane on Sept. 24 at 4:17 p.m The homeowner there was upset the deer was killed on her property and said she would call city hall about it. Police advised her to call a service to have the deer removed. 

Dog Owner Ticketed for Barking Dog

A Fulton Avenue complained that there is a dog constantly barking in the backyard all day long. The dog was outside and seemed to be unattended. Police issued a summons for violating city code to the homeowner.
