Teenage Girls Scuffle on Village Green
Police are investigating a verbal confrontation that turned physical.
Two groups of teenagers got into a verbal fight that then escalated into a scuffle between three 15-year-old girls on the Rye Village Green on April 6 at 4:56 p.m., according to Police Commissioner William Connors. Two girls were from Rye and one was from Port Chester. There were no serious injuries and no arrests. Police are investigating the incident. Police had received several calls about the altercation, according to the blotter.
