Sleepy Driver Strikes Utility Pole

On Oct. 12 at 4:38 p.m. a 41-year-old New Rochelle man was driving south on Boston Post Road and Eldredge Place when he struck a Con Edison Pole in front of 435 Boston Post Road. The man reported feeling sleepy and the being unsure of what happened next, according to the accident report. The driver was transported by EMS to the Soundshore Medical Hospital in New Rochelle. The vehicle was towed by Hannigans in Port Chester.

On Oct. 13 at 9:25 a.m. police received a report that a vehicle was damaged in an attempted break-in of car on Kirby Lane. The matter was closed with a police report.

On Oct. 16 at 9:50 a.m. a caller reported someone entered his unlocked car and removed $150 from his wallet on 10 Wilson Road. Police took a report.

Car Versus Home on Boston Post Road

On Oct. 14 at 10:55 a.m. police received a report that a vehicle damaged the siding of a home on Boston Post Road in an accident the occurred the day before. Police took a report of the incident from the homeowner.

Hit and Run on Orchard Ave.

On Oct. 12 at 11:21 a.m. police received a report that a moving truck hit a parked vehicle at 40 Orchard Ave. The incident was closed with a report.

On Oct. 15 at 10:26 a.m. a moving vehicle struck a parked car on Redfield Street and Forest Ave. Police closed the matter with a report.
