Second Anniversary of Lauren Spierer's Disappearance: Media Reports

It's the two-year anniversary of the disappearance of Lauren Spierer, an Edgemont resident who was at the time a sophomore at Indiana University. 

In a detailed re-cap of the mystery published June 1, Fox News summarized what's known, what's alleged, and what's happening in the case. 

According to Fox: "on the second anniversary of her disappearance, the question of what befell her is as baffling as it was on June 3, 2011, the day she was reported missing." 

Meanwhile Spierer's parents told The Journal News how horrified they were that the family of her boyfriend recently alleged that Lauren abused drugs. 

Neither boyfriend Jesse Wolff nor four other young men who were the last known to have seen the 20-year-old alive have cooperated with the Bloomington Police Department, her parents alleged in a January 2013 interview with People Magazine. Read more about the investigation on Patch.
