Animal Complaint

On June 29 a three-year-old was bit by a coyote in a Hammond Road backyard. The child was playing in a neighbor's fenced in backyard when a coyote jumped over the fence and bit the girl behind her left ear and on her left side above her ribs. EMS was on scene and transported the child to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. The surrounding area was searched for hours later.

On June 27 a man stated that an unknown party had broken into his vehicle and stolen a friend's bag. The victim stated that she had left the vehicle's window open. There was no damage done to the vehicle.

A woman told police on June 27 that sometime during the night an unknown party entered her vehicle and stole her purse and leather CD case.

Criminal Mischief

On June 25, a woman told police that her vehicle had acquired damage during the previous night. It appeared that the roof had been walked on and hit with a metal object. There were no tree branches that had appeared to fall on the vehicle.

Criminal Mischief

On June 25, a complainant stated that he had two tires slashed on his vehicles within the last two nights. Both vehicles were parked in his driveway.
