Robbers steal Revlon:

A manager of  the CVS on Boston Post Road said at 11:24 a.m. on Dec. 10 two unknown people dressed in dark clothing entered and removed large quantities of Revlon beauty supplies from the store.

Diamond Ring Lost:

A Rye resident states that sometime on Dec. 7, her ring went missing from her finger. She came to police headquarters two days later, saying she lost an 18 karat diamond ring which she believes slipped off her finger somewhere in Rye.

"America's Got Talent" Theft:

Man reports his wallet was stolen Dec. 6 while at a local residence in Rye. The victim said his wallet was stolen by an unknown person. The victim was working at the location taping of America's Got Talent TV show.

Home Burglary:

A Rye man reported someone forced his rear door between 5 and 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 7. He said he heard someone enter his residence via his locked kitchen door and walk into his kitchen. The door was damaged, but nothing was taken. 

Text Message Harrassment:

A Rye woman said she is the subject of aggravated harassment. She told police on Dec. 7 that she has received several unwanted text messages from her husband's ex-wife. She asked to follow-up with an order of protection.

Anti-Semitic Leaflets:

A resident found anti-Semitic leaflets in the area of Forest Avenue & Redfield Street on Dec. 5. She was walking and saw pieces of paper with Anti-Semitic leaflets on Forest Avenue.

Fight Outside Bar:

Police responded to a call of a fight outside of the Rye Bar and Grill at Station Plaza on Dec 6. A woman said that a man was fighting with her friend. When she went to calm things down, the man grabbed her BlackBerry and smashed it.

Woman Bitten by Dog:

A Rye Brook woman said she was walking her dog on a street off Comley Avenue on Dec. 10 when a brown Labrador from the neighborhood ran towards her and her dog in an aggressive manner. The Labrador went loose after overpowering an unknown woman who had the dog on a leash.  The lab bit the Rye Brook woman and her dog, but did not break the skin or cause serious injury.

Woman Reports Prowler:

A Rye Brook woman states that on the morning of Dec. 11 she looked out her front window and saw an unidentified person on her front porch. She said the person then ran into a vehicle that was parked on the street. The vehicle headed towards North Ridge Street. Woman was unable to give police any further description of the prowler or the vehicle.
