Rye Brook Police Department Issues Flood Warning
Police say heavy rain this weekend could lead to flooding
The Rye Brook Police Department has issued the following alert for this weekend:
Light rain today will become heavier on Saturday into Sunday resulting in significant rainfall totals. Plenty of runoff is expected as already saturated grounds will have a hard time absorbing this amount of rainfall, resulting in localized flooding.
Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared and take action should flooding develop. Please stay tuned to your local radio or TV station for more information. Dial 911 for any emergencies.
