Runner Injured by Drive-By Soda Throwing

Passenger Throws Soda, Injures Biker 

A runner reported that while he was running on Forest Avenue and Magnolia Place someone in a passing vehicle threw a soda out the window, which struck him and caused a contusion to his left upper leg. The runner said the passenger was in a Silver Sedan hatchback that looked about 10 years old. The incident was reported on April 30 at 6 p.m.

Police spoke to an Evergreen resident about signs placed in the roadway who said they were “community signs.” They were moved from the roadway onto private property.
