RHS Student Found Under the Influence at School; Kids Throwing Rocks

School Nurse Reports RHS Student Took Unknown Substance
The Rye High School nurse reported to the police that a student at the RHS gym had taken an unknown substance on Nov. 16 at 1:39 p.m. Police dispatched officers Klein and Spillane as well as EMS. The matter was closed with a report. Police detective Chittenden said the student had consumed alcohol.

On Nov. 16 at 10:14 p.m. a caller reported that youths threw something at her car in the vicinity of 42 Forest Ave. There was no damage reported to gthe vehicle. Police checked the area and found nothing.
Loud Kids in the Street

On Nov. 16 at 11:20 p.m. a caller reported approximately 20 kids in the street making noise on Intervale Place and Cowles Ave. Police found a group of 10 at 11:24 p.m. who moved along.
Skateboarding Complaint
On Nov. 17 at 1:12 p.m. a caller reported kids skateboarding in the street ear Elizabeth Street and Evergreen Ave. She said they harassed her when she asked them to leave. Police recorded the matter as “problem corrected,” at 2:13 p.m.
Kids Throwing Rocks at Cars
On Nov. 17 at 5:01 p.m. a caller reported several 10 to 12 year old boys throwing rocks at cars on Florence Ave. and Park.
