Police Warn Two Duck Hunters for Trespassing

A Brevoort Lane resident reported duck hunters on her property.

Two duck hunters were reported to the police for hunting on personal property on Brevoort Lane at 12:18 p.m. on Jan. 25, police report. There were no “no trespassing” signs to advise hunters the area was private property, police reported. They advised the homeowner to get those signs. The duck hunters left the island without incident.

Two days later, a Stugvesant Ave. homeowner reported that duck hunters were disturbing his peace at 7:16 a.m.
