Loose Dog on Peck Avenue

A brown lab was found running in the roadway on Peck Avenue by Avon on April 1 at 8:25 p.m.. Police took the dog to headquarters and notified the owner.

Police received a complaint of a barking dog on Dearborn Avenue on April 3 at 3:22 a.m. Police sat outside the home for several minutes and did not see or hear a dog barking. 

Injured Deer at Rye Nature Center

An injured deer was reported at the Rye Nature Center on March 28 at 4:24 p.m. The animal was stuck in the brook with two broken legs. Animal dispatched with one round.

Stunned Deer

Police received a report of a stunned deer standing on the side of the road near the Parsons Estate. The deer was off the roadway lying down on March 30 at 8:29 a.m.
