Leaf Blower, Construction Complaints in Rye

A list of city code violations reported in Rye so far this month.

 Rye police received the following complaints about leaf blowers being used and construction done in violation of the city ordinance between May 3 and May 13.  

Leaf blower complaints:
May 3, 8:34 a.m. on Grace Church Street May 3, George Langeloh Court, workers were issued a warning.
May 8, 4:54 p.m., Meadow Place
May 10, 10:41 a.m., Marlene Court. The condition was corrected, police report. May 10 at 11:46 a.m., Ellis Court, landscapers were gone when the police arrived.
May 10 at 2:40 p.m., Midland Avenue. A warning was issued.
May 10 at 2:57 p.m. in Loudon Woods. Three landscaping companies working in the area were advised of the city code.
May 7 at 1:31 p.m.,  Mohawk Street. Police did not observe the violation when they arrived.
May 3, 6:11 p.m., Ellis Court and Midland Avenue.    

Construction Complaints:
Construction work before 10 a.m. was reported on May 12 t 8:34 a.m. on Orchard Avenue.
Construction on a Sunday was reported on Even Lane on May 12 at 4:34 p.m. The homeowner was using his power washer and he turned it off.
Construction before 10 a.m. was reported on Osborn Road on May 4.
