Just about every Saturday morning at first light, the landscapers that take care of the hedge fund company Globe Op on South Road start with the leaf blowers. They use a minimum of two of the powerful ones plus the back back style. Everyone in the Harrison Commons co-ops get jolted out of their sleep. It's been happening for years and Rye does nothing about it. Also, when the Rye Tennis Club's dome is taken down, they use a vacuum cleaner to clean their courts. They start at 6 am.

Joe - where is the Rye Tennis Club's dome? Is this in Rye City?

Regardless - a law that has no enforcement is worse than the bad law it may be. Why? Because it teaches people to disrespect the law. If Rye City really wants to keep this law on it's books, then it has to be more rigorously enforced. Otherwise, repeal the nasty little bugger.
