Kids Cause Trouble at Marriott; Reports of Rowdy Youths

Loud Youths

On Dec. 21 at 10:46 p.m. a caller reported a loud group of youths acting disorderly on Magnolia Place and Forest Avenue.

Youths in the Middle of the Road

On Dec. 28 at 10:38 p.m. a caller reported a group of youths walking in the middle of the road on Island Drive. Police reported that the youths were waiting for a ride from parents.

Youths in Tunnel

On Dec. 27 at 4:21 p.m. a group of youths was reported in the tunnel at the train station. They were gone on arrival.

Youths Play Ring and Run

On Dec. 22 at 8:38 p.m. a caller reported that youths rang her bell and ran away on Chamberlain Street.

Youths Disturbing the Peace

 On Dec. 30 at 2:11 a.m. a caller reported a large group of youths carryin on in the street disturbing his peace on Dearborn Ave. and Overlook Place. Police were unable to locate the group.

Runaway Youth

On Dec. 30 at 7:16 p.m.  a mother reported that her 16-year-old son had ran away from home in Harrison. The boy was found at the Rye train station and mother was reffered to Harrison Police Department Youth Officer.

Kids Cause Trouble at Marriott

On Dec. 31 at 12:48 a.m. the night manager at the Marriott Courtyard stated that a group of about 15 to 20 youths were in the courtyard and she believed they may be starting a fire on one of the first floor balconies. The youths fled the scene as the officer arrived. The night manager said they were in room 106. The police found no one in the room. The Marriott staff stated that any damages would be recouped with the credit card the room was held under.
