Deer with Broken Legs
On Dec. 7 at 1:46 p.m. police received a report of a deer with broken legs on the side of the road. Police euthanized the animal at 1:55 p.m.
Rabid Skunk
On Dec. 9 at 4:41 p.m. police received a report of a possibly rabid skunk. They canvassed the area.
Transformer Explosion Puts Out Traffic Light
On Dec. 8 at 8:47 p.m. police received a report of a transformer explosion on Parkway Drive and Boston Post Road. Con Edison was advised and DPW provided stop signs. Police stood by for traffic safety while DPW repowered traffic light using a generator.
Tree Down on Orchard
On Dec. 10 at 4:28 p.m. a caller reported a tree down on Orchard between Theodore Fremd and Post Road. It was moved off the roadway.
