Illegal Parking at Rye Y; Reported Larcenies in Rye

Larceny Reported at CVS
On Jan. 14 at 9:05 a.m. police received a report of a larceny from the CVS on Boston Post Road. In the police report, the suspect is described as a dark skinned male wearing glasses and a bubble jacket. CVS Staff told police they were not sure if he took something from the store before he was spotted. Police took surveillance video from the store and canvassed the train station and surrounding area with negative results. Staff will file a report if inventory check reveals something was taken.

On Jan. 14 at 6:26 p.m. a caller reported that a car entered the Con Edison Maintenance Yard on Theodore Fremd Ave. and removed some cables.

Summons Issued for Illegal Parking at Rye Y
On Jan. 13 at 9:46 a.m. police issued summons to the owner of an illegally parked vehicle at Rye Y on Mead Place and Locust Ave. Police recorded the matter as an “ongoing issue with Rye Y parking.”
