Four Suspects Arrested in Rye for Heroin Possession

All the suspects were Maine residents

New York State Police arrested four people on Saturday in Rye for possession and intent to sell heroin.

Police pulled over the suspects during a routine traffic stop just after 2 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities said James T. Jones, 41; Benjamin W. Bean, 25; William D. Page, 21 and Tiffany M. Palow, 22 were arrested after being pulled over on Interstate-95 in Rye.

The suspects, who are all Maine residents, were in possession of seven grams of heroin. They were charged with possession in the fourth degree and intent to sell in the third degree, according to state police.

State Police would not comment on whether the suspects purchased the drugs in Rye.

The suspects were taken to Westchester County Jail and were arraigned at Rye City Court.
