Dog Complaints

On Nov. 22 at 10:33 a.m. police received a report of dogs running loose in Rye Town Park.

On Nov. 23 at 6:19 p.m. a dog-walker reported to police that he came to the owners house on Old Post Road and found the basement door open. He requested for police to check the house. He told police he would meet them in front of the house.

On Nov. 23 a resident went to the police station to request the police to document an incident between his dog and an unknown party. According to the police report, the incident was reactivated.

On Nov. 28 at 9:41 a.m. a caller reported a dog at large that appeared to be a husky on Milton Road and Oakland Beach Ave. Police were unable to locate the dog.

On Nov. 28 at 10:41 a.m. a caller reported a dog at large, possibly a collie mix, on Purchase Street and Boston Post Road. The police checked the area and the dog was gone on arrival.

 

Deer Report

On Nov. 25 at 1:35 p.m. police received a report that a vehicle struck a deer and there was property damage on Theodore Fremd Ave and Locust Ave.
