Dead and Decapitated Deer Reported

Suspicious Person Report

On Nov. 14 at 3:22 p.m. a caller reported a man in the woods behind her home on Hannan Place. She said he was wearing blue jeans and a leather coat. The caller stated that there has been a rash of deer decapitations in the area and she fears this person might be involved. Two police cars were sent, the person was gone on arrival.


Deer Struck

On Nov. 15 at 7:46 p.m. a deer was reported struck by a car on Boston Post Road and Sonn Drive.

On Nov. 16 at 4:57 p.m. police received a report of a deer struck by a car on Boston Post Road Aand Roger Sherman Place.

On Nov. 16 at 11:07 p.m. Police Officer Amlung struck a deer in police car 12 on Boston Post Road and Parsons Street. The incident reports there was property damage.

On Nov. 18 at 9:40 p.m. a motor vehicle accident involved a deer was reported on Locust Ave and Glendale Road. Prpoerty damage was reported.

On Nov. 20 at 4:51 p.m. police received a report of a deer struck by vehicle. The animal was moved off the roadway.

when is the city going to do something about the deer problem? They are a significant safety issue.
