All Lanes Currently Closed on Bronx River Parkway

All lanes closed in both directions due to flooding and a vehicle accident

As of 10 a.m. this morning, all lanes in both directions on the Bronx River Parkway are closed due to flooding and a car accident.

Other closures include:

  • Two lanes blocked on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Pleasant
  • On the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant, the ramp to the Saw Mill River Parkway is closed, but no lanes are blocked
  • Four lanes are blocked in both directions on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers; and the right lane on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Dobbs Ferry is also blocked.

The National Weather Service said rainstorms will last until Wednesday morning, with between a half and three quarters of an inch of new rainfall possible by this evening. Wind gusts are expected in the range of 24-29 mph, which could bring down trees and power lines.
