SPI, THE BOL & SEQR - TODAY!

This morning the Westchester County Board of Legislators continues it's regularly scheduled Tuesday morning meetings aimed at vetting the Sustainable Playland debacle, oops, sorry I mean "plan" (nee - *vision* - ever evolving *vision* - get that right, Deirdre!) under their Labor, Parks, Planning & Housing Committee review process.

TODAY'S SCHEDULED REVIEW MEETING IS TO SPECIFICALLY DISCUSS THE ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND THE SEQR FILING.

Expect LPP & H Committee Chairman Pete Harckham and other Legislators to ask some hard questions.

Don't expect anyone from SPI to be there.

You can watch this meeting live-streamed via the internet by clicking on the link below. The meeting goes from 9am to 11am. As the time for the meeting gets closer when you click on this link you will see a toggle marked "video" come up next to where it says "agenda". Clicking on that "video" button will take you to the live stream or you can also go back and watch the taped video at a later time.

Let's see what kind of hard line questioning Environmentalist Legislator Catherine Parker takes now that she's officially and publicly no longer on the sinking SPI ship.

If you would like to attend this morning's meeting, it is open to the public although only for observation; there are no opportunities during these Committee meetings for public comments or questions.

The meetings are held at the Westchester County Michaelian Office building at 148 Martine Ave. (corner of Martine and Court Streets - across from the Macy's entrance to Galleria), White Plains, NY.  Bring photo ID to go through security clearance in the lobby before proceeding up to the 8th floor to sign in with the Receptionist.
