Click on link below to the Rye City web site for an online PDF download of the letter sent on March 20th, 2014 by Rye's recently hired land use attorney to Westchester County after review of the Sustainable Playland "PIP".
It's a Doozie.
According to a report last week in the Rye City Review, this has already cost the good people of Rye $10,000 just to have the thing reviewed and this letter sent by an attorney. If SPI proceeds with this nonsense, they stand to cost Rye taxpayers a good deal more in legal fees to fight the County on this issue.
This looks like one serious legal smack-down for SPI. Kudos to new Rye Mayor Joe Sack for making sure that Rye City leadership puts down the cheerleading pom-poms and takes a logical legal approach to this mess that forces the following of a legal process and review.
